University of Padua – University of Ulm
Due to the close cooperation of the faculty members of the study courses in Molecular Medicine between the Universities of Padua and Ulm, in January 2012, for the first time, a retreat took place in Brixen.
Students and scientists of both universities presented their research either as short talks or as posters and were engaged in lively discussions. From 11th until 13th June 2014, the second retreat will be held at the conference center Blaubeuren. Students and researchers in molecular medicine from both faculties, Padua and Ulm, will have the opportunity to present their research results, as lecture or poster.
The sessions are in the categories Oncology, Infectious Agents, Signal transduction and Mechanism of diseases and Developmental biology.
Citation from alumni-student
Studying molecular medicine allows for a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms responsible for human health or disease. This in turn must benefit interdisciplinary research approaches by strengthening collaborations between clinical and scientific colleagues.
